In this design, Artist Vineeta Nair perfectly captures both the pattern and striking blue hue of the dye used in ‘blue pottery,’ the traditional craft of Jaipur. This artwork is a beautiful reflection the Persian Art of blue pottery which came to Jaipur from Persia and Afghanistan via Mughal Courts and can now be found mainly in Jaipur, but also in Sanganer, Mahalan, and Neota.
These trays are handmade in our Spanish workshop from sustainably sourced wood. Vineeta’s artwork is applied with the decoupage technique, where the printed design is applied to the wooden surface with layers of lacquer to seal the artwork.
Available as small squares and larger rectangles, these beautiful trays would make the perfect platters to serve food and drinks on absolutely any occasion.
