This is one of our most popular waste paper baskets, and it's easy to see why. The design is subtle, elegant and versatile, mixing traditional artwork with a cool minimalism. It's particularly suited to eclectic modern English interiors, where refined townhouse style meets boho chic.

A graceful dragonfly and ears of wheat are hand painted in gold onto a choice of three backgrounds, a delicate ivory, pretty Eau de Nil or charcoal. You can select the background best suited to your colour scheme, whether your emphasis is on dark woods, cream or pastel upholstery or vivid colour highlights. An elegant gallery trim and circular carrying handles in gold brass set off the final design.

This design has ben picked by the Press , House and Garden Magazine featured it.

Dimensions : 24 x 18 x 28 cm (W, D, H)

Finish & Base Material: Hand-painted on Metal with Brass Handles.

Matching tissue box covers are available for the Dragonfly waste paper bins.

Master painters in Rajasthan - Our tôle collection is finely hand-painted by a small family business in Rajasthan, the heart of craft in India. The workshop started out in the early 1900s as a domestic metal supplier of larger buckets and containers, as industrialisation swept through the family were forced to adapt their business.

They turned to using the local pool of talented fine painters, who have over the genersations honed their skills from masters painters who once decorated the opulent palaces of this royal state.

The designs have hints of decadence times with influences of East and West, the use of gold leaf and details such as brass feet, handles and filigree trims make unique pieces which will for sure go on to be family heirlooms of the future.
