The small brass bin has a hammered honeycomb exterior made up of blackened hexagons that are indented, irregular in shape and demarcated by raised golden ridges. This eye catching exterior is piqued further by the honey coloured bare brass interior that is so vibrant it almost glows.
The design is brimming with natural influences, bringing to mind both beeswax and the burnt black bark of a great tree after a forest fire.
